I figured this out tonight.



What makes this "work" is that the guitar parts (played by the sfplay~) were recorded with the metronome at 120 bpm. Then it all kinda fits together with the metro at 250 (that means it's banging 4 times a second) and the seek at every two seconds out of 90 possible random numbers (since the source audio file is about 3 minutes, or 180 seconds long and the 90 random is multiplied by 2000, then it's telling the sfplay~ to play the sound file at the beginning of any measure at random, right?).
